Admah suffered the same fate as Sodom and Gomorrah that was destroyed by "brimstone and fire". In Biblical Names the meaning of the name Admah is: Earthy; red; bloody. It was one of the five cities of the Vale of Siddim.
According to Genesis 14:3, The “Valley of Siddim” refers to the great valley surrounding “the Salt Sea” between Engedi and the cities of the plain, at the south end of the Dead Sea (aka the Dead Sea, “sea of the Arabah”.
In Genesis 14:2–3 the kings of Admah and Zeboiim are mentioned as being part of an alliance that included the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah and several other kings in the vicinity. This coalition rebelled against Kedorlaomar king of Elam and his allies who had subjugated them.
Kedorlaomar king of Elam then allied with three other kings, campaigning against five Canaanite city-states (including Admah) in response to an uprising in the days of Abraham.
